Dayna + Chuck | Engagement

There is so much I could say about Dayna and Chuck. From the subject of her first e-mail to me...I knew I was going to shoot her wedding no matter what she could afford. She is so full of life and has an off-the-wall personality that I adore. She loves photos almost as much as I do and it showed in how long the engagement session lasted. We packed up Gavin (and practically everything he owns...it's amazing how much a baby needs) and traveled to Starkville, Ms. Literally one minute before the scheduled engagement session...it started to downpour. We waited it out and thankfully blue skys followed. Now we were on a time crunch. They both had put so much thought and effort into today's shoot, from hair appointments to props, props, and props I was worried we wouldn't get it all. I snapped this picture below as Travis and I tailed behind them on MSU campus.

...and this wasn't even half of there stuff. After covering the campus, we rushed over to their wedding venue (Waverly Waters) with barely enough sunlight left to do much of anything, only to find out that there was a church retreat there. Instead, we took some night shots, but after traveling five and a half hours and what I felt like a disappointing shoot, Travis and I decided to stick around that night and give it a go the next day. So here are a few of the images of the longest (and arguably the funnest) engagement shoot ever.

Standing where they had their first conversation.

Don't want to put up to many...I want her to be surprised when she receives her pictures in the mail. Travis and I are SO looking forward to their wedding this spring.

Lisa & Jamey's Engagement

I had the honor of taking Lisa's and Jamey's engagement photos. And I have NEVER had so much fun with a couple. I'm not one to pick favorites, but either one of them had enough personality for the both of them. You couldn't help but feel the love and joy that they exuded. With the up coming nuptials just under a month away the excitement of a new life together was overwhelming. There was nothing but smiles, laughter and tears...yes, tears...but only from too much uncontrollable laughter. I wish continued love and happiness to this incredible couple. Congratulations!

Sharayah and Nate

Two love birds ready to fly the coop...literally. After having fallen in love in Chattanooga, life was taking them else where. Before they leave, they are taking one last bit of Chattanooga with them.

We also got some shots of Nate who's an up and comer in the music industry.
