With mother's day quickly approaching, Vanessa relayed her magnificent mother's day gift idea, for both her mother and grandmother, to me. All three of these lovely ladies were/are nurses. With Vanessa just recently graduating, and having a unique vintage nursing outfit from a ceremonial pinning, a photo album was the perfect gift. With her hand sown dress, her mother's authentic nursing hat, and her grandmother's cape, she was a picturesque WWII nurse look-a-like. What a beautiful tribute to the two women in her life that has molded her into who she is today. Here's to all the mother's that have made a positive impact on their children's lives.

the beginning

Since before I can remember...I've loved photography. Case and point: this is me...around three:

So it's no surprise in high school I was the yearbook editor and documented our senior year with relish. This only ignited my passion. I went on to pursue a degree in graphic design and brought my love of people and design together in photography. Being a newly wed myself, nothing brings a smile to my face faster than people in love. Whether they are fiances, husband and wife, or mother and child. Capturing happiness and affection in a photo is my passion. Provoking an emotion without using a single word makes the feeling more personal. I don't only believe that a picture says more than a thousand words, it's a moment in time that's eternalized in the form of art. That's why each picture photo shoot I do, I like to personalize.
